Can I use Govably without canceling my Granicus contract?
Yes. Govably works independently — there is no integration required and no conflict with your existing Granicus setup. You keep using Granicus for video streaming, legislative tracking, or whatever else you rely on it for. Govably only handles the minutes step.
Does Granicus not already generate minutes?
Granicus MediaManager can produce a transcript of what was said. That is not the same as official minutes. Official minutes require structured motion language, numbered items, per-member vote records, public comment documentation, and legal formatting your body requires. Govably takes the raw transcript and builds that complete official document — the clerk reviews and approves rather than writing from scratch.
How do I get my Granicus recording into Govably?
You can export a transcript from Granicus MediaManager and paste it into Govably, or provide a recording URL, or upload a file. Govably accepts transcripts from any source — there is no special API connection or IT setup required.
How quickly can we start?
